Doctors & Staff

Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Meredith L. Turner O.D. a proud provider of vision care products and services in Redding.

Dr. Meredith L. Turner

Dr. Turner was born and raised in Redding California, and, despite having lived in the Bay Area for more than twenty years, she still considers herself a small-town girl.  So it is with great pleasure that she returns to practice in her home town community.

After graduating from Shasta high school, she attended UC Davis, earning a degree in genetics with a minor in psychology. She had a fourteen year career at a top pharmaceutical company in Palo Alto, where she had the opportunity to be involved in the drug discovery process.

Eventually Meredith decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a doctor and attended the UC Berkeley School of Optometry.  She is honored to have the opportunity to care for each patient’s vision needs with dignity and respect, as if they were her own family.   In her spare time Dr. Turner enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her husband and three children.  She looks forward to serving the local community in the years ahead.
